Why we let it this way
We would rather have one household settled here for years than a stream of short stays. A twelve-month lease gives everyone something worth having: you get a home rather than a countdown, and we get a house that is lived in and looked after. Renewals are welcome, and we would far rather extend with a good tenant than start again.
What makes it work is the layout. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and its own walk-in closet, across three floors. Families stop negotiating over the bathroom in the morning, and housemates sharing a lease do not have to share anything else.
How we operate
- We let the whole house to one household. No room-by-room letting, no sharing with strangers.
- 12-month lease, unfurnished. Appliances, washer and dryer and blinds stay. You bring the furniture and set the utilities up in your name.
- Maintenance comes to us directly. There is no ticketing system between a broken appliance and the person who can authorise fixing it.
- We would rather renew than re-let. If the year goes well we will offer a renewal early, so you are never deciding where to live under time pressure.
- We will tell you if it is not a fit. A tenancy that goes wrong on arrival helps nobody. If the house does not suit what you need, we would rather say so.
